Outsourcing Data Centers

Here is an interesting article on considerations when looking at outsourcing data centers. Keep in mind that perspective is everything. There is always a gap between theory and application when approaching these types of efforts for an organization. There are some good recommendations in this article but when it comes to applying them there is some level of organizational evaluation that needs to be compeleted before considering some of the options. Anyone who has delivered large complex enterprise level systems knows to never under estimate organizational culture and people when evaluating some of the suggested changes.

I think the author(s) did a good job of exposing some of the things to consider when looking at this type of effort.
